AMMENHEUSER FAMILY - This is the main landing page and root of everything for the Ammenheuser Family web presence (www.ammenheuser.com). Clicking on the LovingTree icon anywhere within the sites will take you to here - essentially a "Table of Contents". Other Tabs (shown below in CAPS) branch off from here and reside on other servers.

FAMILY - This web branch contains family focused sites. You'll find a high level overview of how my wife and I met and our philosophy (tenets) for raising the family the way that we did. There is a site that stores our favorite family recipes which have been handed down from previous generatations. Even a music video that I created and produced for my lovely wife's 41st wedding anniversary gift. Within this page I give a brief description of how and why family is so important to our being. The links below are embedded within the dialog and are highlighted.

• Music Video - This video describes how my miserable childhood bloomed after meeting the girl of my dreams. Character likenesses are not exact but the story is all based on facts. There are symbology and liknesses in this story that will be shared - eventually when time permits.
• Favorite Recipes - These recipes have been shared by maternal family members. My favorites are the Banana Bread and Hot Beef. Other family members have raved about the Crab Dip being their "go to appetizer".
• Our Tenets - I learned the hard way that raising a familiy without some guiding principles is like sailing a boat without a rudder. On this page I list the main concepts we used as a foundation to raise our family.
• Motto Definitions - The RLNCAJR phrase (at the top of most web pages) does not just provide the basis for our family motto, each familiy member's initial was used to build the motto as they became part of our core family unit.
• Family Symbol - The family logo is described on this page. I briefly go over how it was created and touch on some of the specific aspects of this very cool design.

PHOTOS - A family site would not be complete without a photo gallery. Here we present thousands of pictures of our family as it grew over the years. Although, some areas are protected and need credentials to gain access to the albums.

CLOUD - This location is our very own cloud portal and can be used to create, share and collaborate on documents. Obviously you need credentials to access this location. With the technology used, we will (eventually) have the cabability to conduct video chat sessions - similar to Zoom or WhatsApp - but totally private. This site is just starting to be built out and will grow as time allows.

SEARCH - Search engines are notorious for collecting meta data about your searching habits and content. Tech companies collect that information and profile you for advertising and sell the information to other 3rd parties. I decided to create our own Search Page that does not capture or retain any meta data. Feel free to use it and enjoy a real search engine that does not collect your personal information.

WEATHER - Ever since 6th grade, in Mr. Hodge's earth science class, I've been facinated with weather and meteorology. 36 years later, I rekindled that facination when I purchased my own personal weather station back in 2008. I've been collecting data and sharing it with government and academia entities ever since. While there are some links that have broken over time, they will be eventually fixed when time becomes available.

• Main Weather Dashboard - This is the second generation weather dashboard from the original that was developed back in 2008. One of the cool parts of this site includes our own weather forecasting page that uses our own custom forecasting engine for our location. There are several indepth pages here for your review.
• Cell Phone Weather Page - I typically use this page as my go to weather site to see how things are at home. What is handy are the weather cameras that I have set up to have a glimse of any bad weather that may be in store for my commute home.
• Live Weather Dashboard - This is a quick dashboard that comprises of the key weather elements to become aware of. This site has dynamic gauges and charts to make the data a little more entertaining.

GENSET - This is a dashboard I created to monitor the health status of our house generator. It also has link that opens the power utility outage website for current updates. Access to manage and manipulate the generator is peformed via an unpublished gateway.

PORTAL - This tab provides a private and secure gateway to access other backend facilities that help run the house and network. Obviously access is protected and closely monitored using various tools and mechanisms.
